What does 'Made at Home' insurance cover?
Your ‘Made at Home’ policy covers for your finished products and raw materials, while in your home or at a specific ‘Made at Home’ location. You are insured against a range of natural events as well as human actions like malicious or accidental damage, theft or home-based hazards.
All risks cover provides your products outside your ‘Made at Home’ location for example, when you take them to a market or sales event.
Employers Liability covers anyone you employ (whether paid or not) in your ‘Made at Home’ location or helping at your ‘stall’. Note: You must have Employers Liability cover if you have volunteers or employees unless they are members of your family.
Public Liability cover provides you with cover against damages for accidental injury or damage to third-party arising in the course of your business activities.
Product Liability protects you against claims for damages claimed arising injuries caused by the products you sell.
